Hot Tub Deck

A hot tub deck provides an elevated surface that makes it easier for people to enter and exit the hot tub. The deck also provides a social area for guests to gather and relax around the spa. Many people feel that a deck is more attractive than just a standalone hot tub.

A hot tub deck must support a massive amount of weight. So the deck must be extra sturdy and have lots of support. To make installation easiest the deck should be built after the tub has been installed.

The hot tub deck should be stained with a weather and water-proof stain. Sand or some kind of grit should be added to provide a non-slip surface. Railings are also a good idea to assist people and to prevent falls.
